Gotta say about Shelter: not always the best-made film at times. The first 30 minutes especially is full of "informational" dialogue that hurts more than it helps. But once the romance starts, the story really picks up, and you get really involved.

What really puts this film is the green is that the way it presents its gay characters and their situation is unqualifiably excellent. They are real people in real situations doing real things. They are not fairy gays, and while some people aren't happy they are together, there's none of the huge "I HATE YOU FOR BEING GAY" explosions. It's simply a very realistically imagined film. The dialogue needed some improvement, but overall a very positive movie experience.

I'm a bit surprised because my own photography is very similar to Roderick Packe's own. I have not seen enough of his photography to have a conclusive view, but the few photographs I've seen are very similar to mine.

And yes, they are taken with a long exposure. Not neccessarily coloured paper, they may be a lot of things.

Just listened to this & im very impressed with the result. The Grand Diva dub is one of my favourites. The female vocal gives me chills each time i hear... In a good way of course!

il paraît qu'il y a de nouvelles technologies incroyables de 'shaping' de meubles et de pièces d'œuvres d'art basés sur des logiciels de calcul en temps réel à qui ont a asservi des machines de découpe et qui te font littéralement sortir ton objet à partir d'une préparation de base... il paraît que c'est très impressionnant.

en gros, tu dessines sur ordi... la machine te construit l'objet quasi en même temps au fur et à mesure.

pas mal ton re-edit. par contre putain les paroles. c'est plus 'cheesy', c'est plus 'syrupy' là, c'est... j'trouve plus mes mots !!! non mais c'est incroyable.

j'espère pour lui qu'il n'a pas poussé le VICE jusqu'à les écrire lui-même, qu'il a fait appel aux services d'un parolier anonyme ou travaillant sous couvert d'anonymat et qui s'est suicidé ensuite.

oh God ! call me naive Jason... but if i remember well, it took me stuff like 8 or 10 months to lose an extra 6 kilo ballast unproperly located in the lower part of my belly. God knows how it got there ? was it when i quit smoking ?
