Mixmaster Rufus Wainwright

Whilst looking through Dirk Rudolph's portfolio, I came across this intriguing CD cover that he's done for a compilation in Germany...

It's Rufus!!!!!!! What a multi-talented genius!

Wait a second though; from the cover image it looks like he's having trouble putting his new Ikea kitchen units together. Perhaps he's isn't as talented as we thought after all.

Not yet available outside of Germany, the compilation starts with Rufus' Hometown Waltz and finishes with Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk, both performed by a string quartet. The rest of the CD is his selection of music chosen from the Deutsche Grammophon classical catalogue. Should be fun!

See a quick film of Mr. Wainwright talking about the project here on amazon.de. And you can order the CD here through cd-wow Germany for just 16€ (postage & packing included). A bloomin' bargain.
