Geoffroy de Boismenu

I've got a book of photos by Geoffroy de Boismenu called Libenter, with really beautiful, deceptively simple countryside scenes that look something like the exaggerated colours of Martin Parr put through a soft focus.

A recent post on the i heart photograph blog made me think of him again.

Apparently he's been busy, as his site is full of great photo galleries to look through including this one, Le Beau Serge, that caught my eye. Don't ask me why. Must be the car.

I love his sense of detail, his sense of sadness and his sense of humour. Check out his site! And whatever you do, don't spell his name wrong...
